Horse Training:
Colt starting the right way. Using the methods of the California Horseman, natural horsemanship and our
35+ years of experience starting horses of all breeds and backgrounds, we offer colt starting for all breeds and disciplines at affordable rates. Great care is taken with the horse, working with its natural abilities and speed of learning to create talented, safe, good minded steed. Our goal is to get you in the saddle and encourage the owner(s) to be active and present during all phases of training.
If your horse wasn’t started correctly, has problem behavior, or has holes in its training, we can help. Again our goal is to create a supple horse with a good mind to work through problems with the rider to accomplish what is asked. We have lots of experience and can develop a program that is right for you and your horse.
Full Training: horses are worked a minimum of 5 times per week. $500 per month plus board. We have a number of boarding options to choose from and may consider your ranch if we deem it appropriate for training and it is convenient. Full training includes 1 lesson per week for the rider/owner working with the training horse.
Half Training: horses are worked a minimum of 3 times per week. $350 per month plus board. Again we have a number of ranch locations with boarding options to choose from.
We also offer advanced training in western pleasure, reining, working cow horse, dressage, and trail trials.
